Abigail Wiebe Music is the home for…all of Abigail Wiebe’s music!

I began music lessons when I was 5 years old, which is quite a few years ago now. I started with recorder, moved on to piano, and finally began violin when I was 9. I played in small ensembles and larger orchestras, and even a fiddle group for several years. I played on worship teams and in nursing homes, in farmer’s markets and even in a production of Fiddler on the Roof. Music was an ever-present part of my life, and my amazing mama even convinced me to make a career out of it, and so I went on to complete my ARCT in Piano Pedagogy in 2020. I have taught for almost 8 years now, and have forged a niche for myself as a Metis fiddler in the Fraser Valley. They’re good gigs.

I met my darling husband Michael and married him as fast as I could in 2021. He has been a huge supporter of mine, and especially of my musical endeavors. You’ll find him being my sound guy, head of security, chauffeur, nerve-calmer, chef and caterer, and lifter of heavy things. Couldn’t do it without him.
